Tom Michelini, owner and builder/remodeler, has forty plus (40+) years in the construction industry and 25 years as the owner of Michelini Custom Building. By trade, Tom is a finished (trim) carpenter. Along the way he has acquired many other skills and trades, e.g., tile setting, drywall finishing, rough carpentry, roofing, siding, electrical, plumbing, window and door installation, just to mention a few. He has worked as a General Contractor and a "hands on" licensed custom builder/remodeler — primarily in residential new construction and remodeling, but also in commercial.

Having done over 90% of the work himself for nearly 20 years, he has established a faithful customer base without one cent being spent in paid advertising. He has established relationships of trust based on customer education, honesty/integrity, and high-quality materials and workmanship; that became his marketing (advertising) strategy. Michelini Custom Building is still thriving to this day by continuing to service second and third generation customers from its original customer base. However, because of the Internet focus with WindowScape, LLC and other websites, Tom has assembled a strong team of highly-skilled, quality subcontractors who now do primarily all the work. Each member of the team is a fully-insured business owner. Tom organizes the job, coordinates schedules with contractors and performs daily inspections of the work process

The contractors pass leads to each other on the team, always conscious of the needs and requests of their customers. This is important because the contractors do not want to mar their sterling reputation with a bad referral. It's a great incentive for each contractor to stay quite busy even in a "Down Economy."
